Today, February 14, 2004, I Lost my beloved Shadow and her unborn foal, to Guttural Pouch Mycosis. She fought this unforgiving disease with everything she had. She was determined to beat it! My heart pours out to anyone who has to go through this disease. It is very, very ugly in the end! She was Very Special to me and was dearly Loved. She will always be in my Heart! Shadow is the reason for there being a White Oak Grullas. She had more personality than I have ever seen in any one horse! She will be Greatly missed by those who knew and loved her! Thank You to all who Prayed and Supported us through this very painful and trying time! |
